State Director, Lisa Hanson Lamey

Assistant State Director, Katie Birdsall

  • Announcement of new ad-hoc committee looking into benefit of the IIRSA membership, and recruitment and retention strategies

Student Leader – David Kirk

  • We have an Engagement Coordinator at each of the major institutions, now working to get representatives from smaller colleges

  • Will be updating Engagement Coordinator job descriptions updated:

    • More involved with social media

    • Receive ribbons on name tags at Lead On and the Annual Conference

  • Region III Lead On Update:

    • 500 people Max Registration

    • December 1st deadline to submit presentation proposals

    • Region III Scholarship Application for an Illinois Student to attend Lead On – Was Due October 30

  • Professional Scholarships for the 2016 IIRSA State Workshop are approved, 3 Scholarships for $175 each

  • Student Scholarships will be considered for other NIRSA-related conferences apart from the Annual Conference as well
