IIRSA Vision Statement

 

• Actively contribute to and support the programs, services and mission of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association.

• Set the standard for NIRSA affiliated state associations.

• Promote the development of future IIRSA and NIRSA Leaders.

• Contribute to the body of knowledge in the field by promoting education and research.

• Establish an environment which strengthens the relationships among the membership and their institutions.

• Create opportunities for professional development and encourage participation in these activities.

• Address issues openly and productively in a manner which promotes consensus building.

• Encourage professional members to serve as advocates, role-models and mentors for the student membership.

• Formulate sound fiscal management practices for the long term benefit of the association.

• Incorporate technologies which improve the delivery of programs and services and encourage efficient, effective communication among the membership.
